Exploring Medicine

Exploring Medicine Modules are scenario based science competencies that apply basic science knowledge to clinical medicine. The major goal of these modules is to give the student a realistic exposure to the medical model of patient care, but they can also help to prepare you for the MCAT and fulfill a core science competency for pre-medical students. The modules include text with embedded educational videos and various descriptive illustrations. At the end of each module is a quiz that can be taken “open book.” When a score of 90% or greater is achieved on this quiz, the student earns a personalized certificate of completion that specifies the foundational concepts and scientific inquiry and critical analysis and reasoning skills addressed. If a score of less than 90% is achieved on the quiz, a new set of questions is loaded and the student can retest.
